Oakland A's Community Report
Client Overview:
The Oakland Athletics take an innovative and dynamic approach to improve the quality of life in Oakland and the East Bay. Through educational programs, youth sports initiatives, and various volunteer efforts, the A's are committed to making the community more equitable and inclusive.
Approach:
For the community fund to showcase its impact for the public and potential stakeholders, we were tasked to create a booklet that reports the Athletic's merits and accomplishments for the previous year. The client provided my team with all the assets. These included brand colors, fonts, photos, and graphics.
This assignment was primarily a content layout project, with some opportunities to be original. One such occasion was an infographic that was used to show metrics.

Research
Our team conducted a brief competitor audit of other baseball team's community reports seeing how visually effective and easily digestible they were. We listed some positives takeaways and opportunities for improvement were. Working off of our audit, allowed us to create a more suitable concept that the client accepted.
Result:
In 8 weeks, we were able to deliver a 30-page booklet on time for opening day (March 29th, 2018) to hand out to fans and other stakeholders.
